Day 1
Arrive Beijing ()
On arrival in Beijing, you will be met & transferred by our professional English speaking guide to your hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.
Day 2
Beijing (B/L)
Buffet breakfast at hotel. Full day city excursion to Tiananmen Square-the largest square in the world, Forbidden City-imperial palace of Ming and Qing Dynasty, and Temple of Heaven-here ancient emperors prayed for good harvest. Lunch at good Peking Roasted Duck restaurant. You can choose the Peking Opera Show (or Chinese Kungfu show) as optional in the evening.
Day 3
Beijing (B/L)
Buffet breakfast at hotel followed by full day trip to the Great Wall at Badaling, the Ming Tombs and the Sacred Way with lunch at local Chinese restaurant.
Day 4
Beijing/Urumqi (B/L)
Buffet breakfast at hotel, visit the Summer Palace, then explore old town of Beijing(visit Hutong by rickshaw), lunch at the Hutong family followed by transfer to the airport for flight to Urumqi. Upon arrival, meet and transfer to your hotel.
Day 5
Urumqi/Kashgar (B/L)
Visit Heavenly Lake, Xinjiang Minority Peoples' Museum, Transfer to the airport to fly to Kashgar in the evening.
Day 6
Kashgar/Urumqi (B/L)
Visit the Idigar Mosque, the Abakh Khoja Tomb, Bazaar. Take evening flight back to Urumqi.
Day 7
Urumqi/Turpan (B/L)
Buffet breakfast at hotel, then drive to Turpan. Visit the Jiaohe Ruins, the Karez Well and the Sugong Pagoda.
Day 8
Turpan (B/L)
Full day trip to the Gaochang Ruins, the Baizikeli Thousand Buddha Cave and the Flaming Hill.
Day 9
Turpan/Liuyuan/Dunhuang (B/L)
After breakfast, drive to train station for high speed train to Liuyuan (about 3.5 hours, based on first class seat). Upon arrival, meet an drive to Dunhuang. Lunch at local Chinese restaurant. In the afternoon, visit Mogao Caves.
Day 10
Dunhuang/Jiayuguan (B/L)
Buffet at the hotel, visit theMingsha Shan and the Crescent Lake. Drive to Jiayuguan in the afternoon. Upon arrival meet and transfer to your hotel.
Day 11
Jiayuguan/Lanzhou (B/L)
Visit Jiayuguan pass & Overhanging Great Wall, then transfer to the airport for flight to Lanzhou .
Day 12
Lanzhou (B/L)
Visit White Pagoda Mountain, Waterwheel & Grottoes of Bingling Temple.
Day 13
Lanzhou/Xian (B/L/D)
Buffet breakfast at hotel, then transfer to the railway station to catch the bullet train (about 3 hours) to Xian-the ancient capital of China. Upon arrival, meet and transfer the hotel. Lunch at local restaurant followed by visit to Shaanxi Historical Museum, Ancient City Wall, etc. Dumpling Dinner at a good dumpling restaurant.
Day 14
Xian (B/L)
Buffet breakfast at hotel. Full day excursion to world famous Terracotta Warriors and Horses with circle movie showed before returning to the city for visit of the big wild Goose Pagoda and the Courtyard of Family Gao with Shadow Puppet Show enjoying. Lunch at good local restaurant. You can choose the Tang Dynasty dinner Show as optional in the evening (highly recommended, as it is the best show in China).
Day 15
Xian/Shanghai (B/L)
Buffet breakfast at hotel, then transfer to the airport for flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival meet and transfer to your hotel. Lunch at good local restaurant followed by visit to the Bund and Nanjing Road.
Day 16
Shanghai (B/L)
Buffet breakfast at hotel. Full day trip to Jade Buddha Temple, the Yu Garden and Shanghai Museum, etc with lunch at good local restaurants. You can choose the Acrobatic Show as optional in the evening.
Day 17
Shanghai/Departure (B)
Buffet breakfast at hotel. Free until transfer to the airport for flight to the next destination.
End of service.
